“My husband and I work with a lot of dog rescues so naturally, we end up having quite a few of our own. When we rescued our fifth pup we noticed that there was a need for some help with obedience as our five dogs took on a pack mentality. Truth be told the littlest terrier spiced them up - ha ha. Meri came to our home to help us work on basics commands. With her help she assisted us in activities to work on their hyper reactiveness when guests come in our home or near our home. She taught us tricks for safe walking and how to redirect our pups if there is a stimulus and we want to recapture their attention. Meri was patient, kind and fun! She workd so beautifully with our pups and with hard work to reinforce her teachings we have seen progress! "Meri is fantastic with our rescue dog.

She is the second trainer we hired. (The first was not a hands on kind of trainer and did not meet our needs.).

Daisy ran the streets of Houston in a dog pack. She is a three year old, Cairne terrier mix and so sweet and fun in the house, but the minute she leaves the house she is on high alert and thinks she is supposed to fight every dog she sees. Meri got her to listen to commands and behave 100% better while leashed.

...Daisy is still a work in progress, but as the main person caring for her during the day, I feel much more in control of our dog and feel that eventually she will become fully domesticated. Our goal is to eventually trust her to be off leash with other dogs.

I adopted a 6 month old puppy that had been in 5-6 different homes. We believe she was abused and possibly hit by a car. She had an intense fear of absolutely everything. Meri has worked very hard to help Lilly and also teach our family how to help Lilly. Lilly has come a very long way and has made such huge strides. Lilly absolutely LOVES Meri and we do too. Meri is very professional, prompt and understands all of the idiosyncrasies that come with rescue/abused animals. I would highly recommend her for dog training and pet sitting. Meri was awesome with our rescue dog, Snickers! She worked with her (and us!) on basic commands, fetch, drop it, quiet, etc as well as any other issues we were having.
